I bought her a coat today!I can't wait to get a few pictures of her in it!She is so classy,like Jackie O.Oh jeesh,I'm losing it.

Trip to St Louis

It was just Travis and I.Well,and the new pup.But I loved it.Travis said we could do what ever I wanted to do so I chose eating,sleeping,and sightseeing!( I think Travis expected a bit more outta me)

For the most part,St Louis is OK,I have to admit I really felt out of place. I fear I will always be a hick..oh well,stay true to your roots I always say!But,yeah,we got stared at.It might have been the 2 lb dog I was toting in my pocket tho!

The Arch was truly an awesome sight.I never knew how big the sucker was.The ride up and down is what got me.The capsule sucked and Travis didn't help the matter with his snide comment about a coffin...

The park surrounding was nice,I would love to see it in Spring.We plan on taking the kids soon,don't know if Gat will remember much if we go too soon tho.

The main place we ate was Red Lobster.Of course I over ate and that is why I slept so well.I only had one drink though ,I wanted to save room for the coconut shrimp..mmm mmm mmm.

Well,here it is.I was too lazy to walk around past the car to get more pictures(it was raining).

Eagle south of my house

Well,as Gat and I were going to Lamoni for some groceries,something to my right caught my eye.
"What the?Look Gat a Bald Eagle" He was so close I could see his eyes were yellow.I sat a looked at him for about 5 mins,no joke and decided to chance the 2 mile drive home for the camera.All the way I prayed, " Dear Lord,let the Eagle stay just long enough for me to get one picture" Well,that prayer was answered so well.I took several pictures and a short video of him.
He decided to leave when I stuck my head out the sun roof to get a better shot..I guess my red cap and the fact I was only about a spit away from him, made him fly away.He circled and landed south of where he was before.What an awesome bird.I am sure I will never be that close to a Bald Eagle again.My father would have been so excited for me.He loved nature.Maybe he told the Eagle to sit just for me!!! Ya never know!

My green eyed monster

I can't believe I am so jealous of my father in law.Let me tell you ,he came to my house today with his new truck.I wouldn't mind but I have just recently traded off my beautiful Expedition that was so loaded I couldn't even believe it.We traded "down" for a new Taurus ,better gas Blah BLAH BLAH...my hubby thought we needed a smaller payment.I say,"can't take the $ with you" he is thinking retirement...I say "Dream on!"
Back to my Father in law...his truck is so nice that I want to smash the drivers side door in with my economical family car!BUT MY CAR ISN'T HIGH ENOUGH...So I'd drive right underneath it.
I've decided to drive the pick up around so I am just as tall as Joe.Travis can take the car.Travis has spoiled me, I need to give the car some credit.It is very nice,and loaded as well.Not with a navigation system,or DVD.but nice for what it is.And the fact that I can go to work all week on the same tank of gas from the week before,I guess I shouldn't complain...
But I'm still jealous
